Patryk Pachecka was accused of murdering his colleague Grzegorz Pietrycki in August 2016. The jury sentenced him and a co-defendant to life imprisonment in a majority verdict (10-2). He was granted a re-trial on the basis of evidence showing that the jury had made their decision based on incorrect information that could have been significant for the case. He was found not guilty at a retrial.
