Mr GA was convicted of indecent assaults on two women in spite of alibi testimony. His conviction overturned when DNA testing found a good match between DNA from the crime scene and another person who had been in the area where the attacks occurred and was a good match (arguably a better match) for the descriptions the victims gave than Mr GA was. This person also had an existing conviction for a different kind of sexual offence.
