Leon Forde was convicted of the rape of a 13 year old girl. The girl accused Forde of the rape, claiming he also bit down on her neck like a vampire when he attacked her. On appeal, evidence from a computer diary was presented, in which the girl wrote about the rape claim and how she had “made it all up.” This led to the conviciton being quashed.
