Tony Hunt was convicted of rape. He claimed to have had a fling with a colleague, but she claimed this was rape. She did not report it to the police at the time. Seven years later it was reported by a colleague that the woman had confided in. The conviction was quashed on the basis that the judge had not properly advised the jury and new evidence had come to light.
